Eine Lösung wenn Access 2003 nicht mehr starten mag

Weil ich gerade das Problem hatte: Ein Office 2003 wird über Active Directory veröffentlicht, und jeder User kann es sich auf seinen Rechner installieren. Anscheinend scheint es laut diesem Knowledgebase Artikel ein Problem zu geben, wenn die Administrative Installation von Office 2003 schon den Service Pack 2 integriert hat.
Dann wird nämlich ein Registry Schlüssel nicht korrekt eingetragen.
Dies hat zur Folge, daß beim Versuch, Access 2003 zu starten der
Microsoft Installer loslegt, einen Statusbalken malt und sich dann
einfach schließt. Access hingegen startet nicht.
Das kann man aber von Hand nachtragen:
Man startet Regedit und hangelt sich zum Schlüssel:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftJet4.0EnginesExcel
Dort rechtsklickt man auf Win32 und wählt "Ändern"
In dem Feld gibt man nun ein:
C:ProgrammeMicrosoft OfficeOFFICE11msaexp30.dll
Der Pfad bezieht sich auf die Standardinstallation von Office. Wenn man Office in einen anderen Ordner installiert hat, muß man natürlich den entsprechenden Pfad zut msaexp30.dll angeben.
